In 2024, matéria leve organised a Training Program in stage lighting for cis women, transgender and non-binary people. It was offered as a collective learning space in which the three pillars of research, experimentation, and technique converge. The main goal of the project was to share tools for the professional development of the discipline, and to support the participants in developing an artistic practice of stage lighting grounded in research and collaboration.

The program ran from May to December 2024, with theoretical and practical sessions taking place at Espaço Alkantara in June and July.

matéria leve training group 2024 was formed by Ana Luísa Novais Gomes, Bee Barros, Gabriela Claveria, Josefa Pereira, June João Abreu, Naiana Pardal, Priscila Altivo and Ska Batista.
