Part of our research involves exploring creative forms of language aimed at the study of stage lighting in relation to dramaturgy and the various layers that constitute a performative event.

With the intention of creating provisional glossaries and collectively mapping affects and sensitivities, we believe writing can be a space in which to train our attention: writing as a form of reading a field of images open to imagination.

During our residencies, writing and reading are common practices. We have also shared texts in Coreia magazine, organized a workshop on creative writing (“To Read Light”) led by Marcia Lança, participated in the Reflecting Light event around its fanzines, and published a fanzine on the lighting design processes that we have accompanied during 2025.
